Privacy Policy
Who I am
I'm Chris Ogle. Ogle Digital Ltd is my Google Ads consultancy, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, and it's just me. If you've got any questions about how I handle your data, email me at hello@ogledigital.co.uk.
What data I collect and why
There's no contact form on this website. If you book a call, the booking is handled by Calendly, and I see the name, email address and anything else you put in their form. If you email, message or call me instead, I've got whatever you send. I use all of it to answer you and to hold the call, and for nothing else. I won't use it for marketing unless you separately ask me to stay in touch.
If you roll a double six on the homepage and claim a KitKat, I collect your name and postal address. I use them to post you a KitKat and for nothing else. The form is delivered to me by Web3Forms, a form service, and you're not added to any mailing list.
Cookies
Google Analytics is the only thing on this site that sets cookies. It tells me which pages get read, how people found me and roughly which part of the world they were in, never who they are. There's no advertising, remarketing or cross site tracking on this website.
A short note appears the first time you scroll. Tap “No thanks” and Analytics doesn't load, and your answer is remembered in your browser so you're not asked again. If you change your mind later, clearing this site's stored data in your browser settings brings the note back.
Who I share your data with
I don't sell or rent your data, and I don't pass it to anyone for marketing. A handful of services handle parts of it so the site works: Calendly takes the bookings, Web3Forms delivers the KitKat form, Google Analytics counts the visits, and Cloudflare hosts the site. Each one only gets what that job needs, and nothing goes beyond them.
How long I keep your data
I keep enquiries, bookings and KitKat claims for 12 months. After that they're deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask me what data I hold about you, request that I correct or delete it, and object to how I use it. To do any of that, email me at hello@ogledigital.co.uk and I'll come back to you within 30 days.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
